The history of the game - Part 2

The original idea for the website was to include another of my interests, crypto. I had dabbled with the tech and NFTs years ago and thought there was a good use case for the game.

Sites like Steam are a big store with user accounts and games, and achievements, and all that stuff. With crypto, you could offload all that stuff onto the Blockchain and not have to worry about it. Unfortunately, anything I did would cost the users something. Short of creating my very own distributed ledger (and I have thought about it) there is no way to do this stuff for free.
